The story behind Viirastus
The beginning of Viirastus reaches back to 2012 when Klaus introduced sea trout fishing to Artur. Both of them started to spend a lot of time fishing for sea trout and a year later Artur even started to make his own lures. By 2016 the lures started to take shape and bring fish. Close friends of Artur got to test the lures including Klaus who managed to catch a fish on the first day of testing. As there was more people testing the lures, the closer the lure came to perfection. The final touch on the lure was unique surface pattern which Artur developed in 2017. In combination with already developed bends, the pattern on the lure made it an unbelievably well performing lure which raised caught fish count by multiple folds. Interest for the lures grew constantly and in 2018 Klaus offered to use his workshop for production and two friends set sights to the top of the world and started making handmade lures together.
The lures are made of stainless steel or brass and covered with a special surface treatment to achieve fish-like scale shine. The internationally registered industrial design solution of the lures gives each lure an original and unique look. All lures have high-quality Owner or BKK hooks.
